Increase efficiency of task dispatch between call center and drivers. Text messages sent by call center are
displayed on LCD. Facilitate text communication, i.e. data sending and data receiving, between call center
and drivers. Drivers can confirm receipt or acceptance of tasks by making use of the keypad.
The keypad has 12 keys and 4 selection keys (arrow keys). Some of the keys are defined as functional keys.
There are various main functions and sub-functions defined in hardware program. Drivers can select
applicable main function and sub-function by pressing the selection/arrow.keys. For example, drivers can
report vehicle status, i.e. loading goods, unloading goods, delivery in progress, taking a rest and so on, to call
center at anytime by selecting applicable status from status list using the selection (up/down/left/right) keys.
Drivers can perform outgoing calls to any phone numbers by using the keypad. In the case where outgoing
call function is selected, the keys will act as a cell phone keypad, i.e. number keypad. When invoice sending
function is selected, the keys will act as number and alphabet keypad.
The LCD accommodates 60 Chinese characters, or 120 English letters and/or numbers.
